Visitor Information

As its mission, the Kranich Museum commissions and collects works of contemporary art that use the house, the surrounding landscape, and their histories as points of departure. Artists in the collection use media ranging from painting and sculpture to sound, video, and performance to interpret these rich and specific surroundings. Opened in the fall of 2011 under the curatorial direction of Alex Schweder, 2015 welcomes a new curator, Zsuzsanna Stanitz

The Museum is open to the public from June 1st until September 30th Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm
