Stay in the Museum

The hotel is conceived to give visitors the rare chance to sleep in a museum, allowing them a chance to spend extended time experiencing pieces by artists of international reputations. Designed as a place of contemplation, guests can go for daytrips and bicycle rides, then return to enjoy time in historic cast iron tubs in rooms warmed by refurbished wood burning ovens. Lights glow from beneath the wooden floors to bring forward the deep texture of the old brick walls bearing the marks of several histories. Season A: June 1st to September 30th and all public holidays
Season B: October 1st to Mai 31st

Dog: 19,00 € per day, with up to one dog per apartment.

cancelation fees:
up to 5 days: no fee
4 to 3 days: 30 % of the total booking fee
2 to 0 days: 80 % of the total booking fee

Offers & packages:
Last minute with 15% discount on the room price. Applies to bookings made at least 7 days before arrival. Not applicable to packages, workshops, or block bookings.

Long-term stays
Applies to bookings made between March 31, 2026 and March 31, 2027.
From 14 nights stay = 20% discount on the room price
From 21 nights stay = 35% discount on the room price

Visitor’s tax:
A visitor’s tax is levied in the municipality of Saal.
This visitor’s tax is mandatory and is charged at EUR 2.00 per person (aged 14 and over) per night.
